it should be possible. as long as you can run flash in your browser, then you can use it. meaning no ipads, ipods, and iphones but android can still run it.
if your tablet can run flash then it should work. "should".

It's a RAM issue. Adobe Flash runs, but it's such a RAM hog that I can't run anything else, including my browser, at the same time. I think I killed one of my RAM cards a while back because it USED to run Flash just fine. Now I can't even play vids on the WMP without a crapload of lag.

I don't know if anyone still reads this thread, but I just updated to MAC OS X 10.8 and the world map no longer works with the latest flash player 11.3.300.268.

The issue is that after downloading the database, flash wants me to confirm that it's ok to save the data to local and it pops up the menu, but i cannot click in the settings menu.  Even if I don't download the database, and just bring up the flash settings menu (using middle click), I can't close it again since it doesn't take the mouse input.

I tried chrome, safari and FF (all the latest versions).

It's too bad...

I got it working: i used adobe's global settings manager to let local use 10MB of storage space. This way, flash lets world map run without asking me to click ok.... flash is crap.

but still seems to be not working anymore, i'm pretty sure myself it's got something to do with the mapexport.html page, the progam itself hasn't been changed

Well have you guys made any changes to the system or something in the last 3 months? I haven't made the program but it's pretty simple and i guess than even a single change to the code may make the program unusable.
Well it basically says it cannot load the map, the problem is somewhere between it and the mapexport file.

Look, when you have a free minute can you test it yourselves? PS you need to add it as exception in the flash global settings.

Thanks

Seems strange I would have problems with this again, since I figured it out before...

I changed operating systems and now I get the connection error again.  I confirmed I have full write permissions in the directory with the swf and MapExport file.  I triple checked the setup using the method I used before.  I made sure I have the newest version of Flash installed.  Maybe that is the problem.  I might have a newer version than what was working before.  I now have version 11,5,31,139 installed.

Some things may have changed since Dominion's visual guide was posted.  (I tried that too.)  The icon on the far left isn't the monitor with the eye on it.  It is second to the left.  Then, there is no Advanced button there.  Flash might be forcing the user to go straight to the Global Settings now.

I had a file already entered for my Flash exception, that I set before, however the path looked strange.  Can somebody running Linux post what the path of a working installation looks like?  I tried changing it different ways, but nothing worked.  I am out of ideas now, other than trying a stand alone player.

Now I see it's happening in Windows too.  I didn't make any changes there.  Is anybody's still working?

This time as soon as I included the computer file to the secure list of the display it proved helpful. Try that Adamsky.
