If someone is locked out without any portal he simply has to put 100% of his effort into getting one from his opponents.

Totally agree, whilst I sympathize (to a point) with the late comers, especially as this is a beta, we can't go re-writing the rules every time someone bitches (not aimed at you bug) that the other players are bigger and stronger.  Suck it up and grow, join your local alliance and be a productive member.  You don't need novas and AB weps to help.  from my experiance as an alliance admin just keeping active and in communication would be more benefit than a 4 city player who's mechs are sat idle!!!

This BETA round of the game is bad for bloated accounts. Should have gone into endgame about a month ago.

On reset, and not in the BETA, you will not have, and I quote 'old fuddy duds laying back to bask in their glory' (from another posting of mine).

There are players with 6-10 cities and armies of 30+ ST's (me included). This is unrealistic to what the game will be when non-BETA. And if it is, I sure as hell won't be playing it.

I have grown extremely tired of this game.  I was tired of it 2 months ago. Why do I keep playing"? So I can see this endgame Scenario.

I just got my ass kicked by an attack, which is fine. Removes cells use so I can use it elsewhere. But I do not know if I will have the mental fortitude to stick it out to rebuild that part of my army.

[Me]
Endgame Scenario...where art thou Endgame Scenario?
Deny thy father and refuse thy game;
Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my impatience
And I'll no longer be a player.

[Somebody else]
[Aside] Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?

[Me]
'Tis but thy name that is my enemy:
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What's Montague? It is nor hand nor foot,
Nor arm nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a mech. O be some other name!
What's in a name? That which we call a teslagun
By any other word would destroy as sweetly;
So I would, were he not I call'd,
Retain that dear adaptative force field which he owes
Without that title.I, doff thy name,
and for thy name, which is no part of thee,
Take all myself

Act 2, scene 2, 33–49

Hum, I like you more when your quoting Shakespeare (kinda)   :-)

Are the account bloated?  The game has only been running 4 months which is within the timeframe of a normal server run (6 months).  Have the botfarms made that much difference? Will more players starting together reduce growth? I guess we will have to wait and see.

The spawning issue I think has had a large impact that hopefully will be less of an influence on gameplay post beta, so dare I say I kinda agree :-0  The game will have less re-play value for me it it is as much a simfarm as the beta has been!!

I strongly believe that proper location algorithm will solve this problem. If it won't, we will definately have to make some serious changes.

We wanted to make BETA less agressive and we clearly overreacted. :(

Quote
1 HOW EXACTLY WILL WE IDENTIFY THESE PORTALS?
The same way you indentify city or debris field on the map.
There will be more than 64 NPC locations - most of them will offer weapons and stuff for the whole game. After 4 months we will place 64 NPC that will become portals as soon as they get explored by first player.

I have found quite a number of NPC cities but how to "trigger" the "portals"?

Right now I am using them (NPCs) as farm, and all I get, so far, are resources.

Since I am not on this game for long, can someone please teach me how to find "weapons and stuffs" in the NPCs?

Thank you.

You propably mean farmbots, not NPC. NPC mechanism hasn't been released yet.

How is the anti-matter going to be distributed to the cities of the alliances?  Does it go to one city per player?  Does each player's share get distributed evenly among his cities?  Does it get distributed proportionately according to a city's size?

Every player from alliance will be able to build anti-matter storage building - Antimatter capsule. Anti matter will be distributed proportionately according to city's Antimatter capsule level.

It will be important only when stealing anti-matter from your enemy.

How will building colonies on moons work. Will it work just like building another city? If so, does it mean that larger players will have to build more MBBs and smaller players less?

Yes, colonies on the asteroid work the same as normal cities.

Big player will need more MBBs.
